1. Any swimmer entered in the meet, unaccompanied by a USA Swimming member coach, must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. It is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement. 2. The competition course has been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C(4). The copy of such certification is on file with USA Swimming. 3. Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is not appropriate and prohibited. 4. Operation of a drone, or any other flying apparatus, is prohibited over the venue (pools, athlete/coach areas, spectator areas and open ceiling locker rooms) any time athletes, coaches, officials and/or spectators are present. Exceptions may be granted with prior written approval by the USA-S Vice President of Program Operations. 5. All adults participating in or associated with this meet, acknowledge that they are subject to the provisions of the USA Swimming Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (“MAAPP”), and that they understand that compliance with MAAPP is a condition of participation in the conduct of this competition.

FACILITY: Pool Specifications: 25 METER COURSE
Indoor, 8 non-turbulent lane 25-meter course. Warm up lanes will be available in the adjacent 25-yard course during the meet.
Timing: Colorado Time Systems electronic timing system will be used with touchpads at both ends, with computer scoring and scoreboard.
Pool Certification: The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance with and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1 and with USA Swimming in accordance with 104.2.2C(4).
MEDICAL SUPERVISION: Lifeguards on duty and AED device available.
ELIGIBILITY AND RULES: This meet is open to all registered athletes of USA Down Syndrome Swimming, Athletes Without Limits, Virtus and/or DSISO who have achieved at least one (1) minimum qualifying time to compete in the competition.
Qualifying time must have been achieved between October 1, 2023 and September 30, 2024.
DECK REGISTRATION: No deck registration will be accepted.
CLASSIFICATIONS:
II-1: Intellectual Disability (IQ of 75 or lower and significant limitations in Adaptive Behavior) includes Autism w/Intellectual Disability
II-2: Additional Impairment/Down Syndrome (Athletes with Intellectual Disability who also have Trisomy 21 or Translocation Down Syndrome or Similar Additional Physical Impairment)
II-3: Autism (sometimes referred to as High Functioning Autism)

ENTRY LIMITS, FEES, AND DEADLINES:
Individual swimmers may enter up to THREE (3) individual events per day.
No Times (NT’s) are not accepted.
Meet Entry fee for Entire Event: $175.00
On-deck supporter* Entry Fee: $25.00
*One on-deck supporter allowed per athlete. On-deck supporter must be safe sport certified and will only be granted access to the warm-up pool. Proof of safe sport certification will be required.
All entries are due by 11:59pm EST on September 30, 2024 via Club Assistant and paid with a credit card.

RELAY ENTRIES: Relay entries will be deck entered. Relay entry deadlines for each day will be posted and announced.
MEET FORMAT, CHECK-IN, SEEDING AND SCRATCHES:
This meet will be run as timed finals for the 400, 800 and 1500 Freestyle and the 400 I.M. distance events. These distance events require positive check-in to be seeded. At the Meet Referee's discretion these distance events may be combined male & female.
Relays will be timed finals and compete in the finals session each day.
All other events will be Prelims/Finals.
The top 8 qualifiers in each classification, gender and age division (Jr. & Open) will qualify for finals.
No penalty for scratching on the block.
WARM-UP: NO EQUIPMENT PERMITTED
SWIMMERS MUST ENTER THE WATER FEET FIRST WITH AT LEAST ONE HAND IN CONTACT WITH THE POOL DECK EXCEPT WHEN EXECUTING A CONTROLLED RACING START, SUPERVISED BY A COACH OR SUPPORTER.
COMPETITION POOL LANES 1-8 CIRCLE SWIMMING ONLY WARM-UP/WARM DOWN POOL LANES 1-4 CIRCLE SWIMMING ONLY
CAMERA ZONES: Per Florida Swimming Rule 223.13, Meet Management shall designate and inform the public of “Camera Zones” at each swim meet where both still photography and video photography of a race or a competitor in a race may be taken. Acceptable “Camera Zones” may include but are not limited to the side courses of a pool, team gathering areas, concession area, turn-end of competition course when not in use as a “start-end,” etc.
Meet Management shall also designate “Non-Camera Zones.” Under NO circumstances will Camera Zones include the area immediately behind the starting blocks at either end of the racing course(s) while they are in use for “race starting purposes” during competition and warm-ups, locker rooms, restrooms, or any other dressing area. Any individual failing to abide by this rule could be subject to the Florida Swimming Code of Conduct violation as defined in Rule 239.2.
SCORING: There will be no scoring of individual or relay events.
AWARDS:
Medals will be awarded 1st - 3rd place in both individual and relay events.
Each classification will be awarded separately with both a Junior (17 and under) and Open (18 and over) division.
RESULTS: Results will be available via SwimPhone.com and Meet Mobile.

DECK ACCESS: • The competition pool is ONLY open to USADSS and AWL coaches. No credentialed on-deck supporters and/or spectators will be allowed in the competition pool area • The Warm-up/Warm-down pool deck is open to credentialed on-deck supporters who are credentialed
REFUNDS: There are no refunds for athlete and/or supporter registrations. If travel considerations are a factor for attendance, please secure that first.
