Competition course: The length of the competition course is not on file with USMS.  Eligibility of times achieved in this meet will be contingent upon pool length measurement and approval with USMS; if bulkheads are present, their placement must also be confirmed by measurements at the meet (USMS articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1) 

MEET SCHEDULE:  Warm-up: 7:30-8:45, meet begins at 9:00

EVENT SCHEDULE/ORDER: See attached list of events.

RULES: The meet will be conducted in accordance with current USA Swimming and Hawaiian Swimming rules.  The Meet Marshals, with concurrence of the Meet Referee, shall have full authority to remove or have removed from the vicinity of the competition anyone whose behavior or actions are unsafe or are disrupting the orderly conduct of the meet, including the disqualification of athletes from competition. This includes not following COVID-19 safety protocols.

This is a dual sanctioned meet. A USMS (Masters) meet will be held concurrently at the venue. Events will alternate between USA Swimming events and USMS events.

FORMAT:  All Individual events will be swum as Timed Final Events

TIMING: Semi-automatic timing system with manual backup (two buttons, and one watch). 

SEEDING: Heats will be seeded slowest to fastest and will be mixed age/sex.  No Time (NT) entries are acceptable.

ELIGIBILITY: Current USMS rules will govern the meet.  All participants must be age 18 or older, and be currently registered members of the U.S. Swimming.  Foreign swimmers must provide proof of current membership in their country’s Masters Swimming governing body.

ENTRIES: 

• Fees: $15 meet entry    
• Limits: Up to 5 events    
• Online Entries Only
• Entry deadline:  Sunday, September 8, at 11:59pm

 AGE-DETERMINING DATE: The swimmer’s age group is determined by their age on the last day of the meet.

LANE REPORTING: All athletes are responsible for reporting directly to the assigned lane when their heat is called.  Heat sheets will be posted specifying heat and lane assignments.  

SCRATCHES or NO SHOWS: A scratch or "no show" for an event will not result in any penalty to the swimmer.

AWARDS: None, other than fast times and fun.

RESULTS: Final results will be emailed to participants. 

HOSPITALITY: Refreshments will be available for Officials, Coaches, and Timers during the meet.

MEET TIMELINE: When selecting your events keep the following in mind regarding the time the meet will take to run.

• Meet starts at 9:00
• The BREAK (20 minutes) usually falls between 10:30 and 11:00
• The final events are usually completed by 1:00
• If you swim events early in the meet, you can leave after you’re done swimming
• If you swim events later in the meet, you can arrive after the meet has started and can use the warm-up lanes for your warm-up.  Practicing starts will not be available in the warmup area of the pool.
