Fitness Swimmer Stroke Clinic

Oregon Masters Swimming is hosting a Stroke Clinic for Fitness Swimmers on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 2:00 – 6:00pm in Eugene, Oregon.

The OMS stroke clinic, offered by Oregon Masters Swimming coaches, will help fitness swimmers learn important swimming drills that will improve stroke technique. Learn how to be efficient in the water and enjoy your swimming experience. The registration for the clinic is limited to 36 swimmers.

Check-in
2:00-2:30pm
2:30-3:00pm Welcome and Introduction
3:00-4:15pm Videos of drills to be performed
4:15-5:45pm Pool session
5:45-6:00pm Clear pool and facility

Prerequisites
1) Be a current member of USMS, 2) join USMS, or 3) Complete a 30 Day USMS Trial Offer. All participants must sign a USMS liability waiver.
Current USMS membership is required.

Swimmers are not required to swim all strokes and may work on only those strokes they choose. Swimmers need to bring fins, suit, goggles and a towel. Fins are important because without them many of the drills may be difficult.  Fins help create buoyancy and mild propulsion.

$40.00 per swimmer

Who should attend?
Fitness swimmers, lap swimmers and tri-athletes who would like to improve their overall swimming experience. USMS Certified Coaches are encouraged to attend at no cost.

Online and day of event registration will be available. Registration will close when course enrollment reaches 36.
