IAM Swim Analysis Program
Benefits
- Improve stroke and turn technique for fitness and/or competition.
- Improve your fitness, endurance, efficiency, and speed.
- Reduce risk of injury caused by poor technique.
Participants receive a custom swim analysis which consists of 15- 30 minutes of video recording above and below the water. Swimmers can choose 1- 4 strokes with optional turns. After a video recording is completed, an IAM certified coach will review and provide feedback spoken and/or written, as well as video drill demonstrations to supplement feedback. Swimmers can elect to receive feedback in a one-on-one feedback session at a pool for an additional charge.
Strokes (Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly, and Breaststroke)
Includes evaluation of your stroke technique such as:
- body alignment
- kick
- entry
- pull
- recovery
- head and hip position
- Timing
- Breathing
- undulation
Includes evaluation of your turn technique at the wall such as:
- approach
- turn
- head and body position
- push-off with streamline underwater
- surfacing/break-out
IAM Members
- $100 – For one stroke with optional one turn. Receive evaluation summary along with swimmer’s footage, written/spoken feedback, and links to applicable drill demos.
- $25 for each additional stroke with optional turn
- $25 additional for One-on-One Feedback session at the pool reviewing evaluation with drill practice.
- $150 – For all four strokes with all four turns
- $125 – For one stroke with optional one turn. Receive evaluation summary along with swimmer’s footage, written/spoken feedback, and links to applicable drill demos.
- $25 for each additional stroke with optional turn
- $25 additional for One-on-One Feedback session at the pool reviewing evaluation with drill practice
- $175 – For all four strokes with all four turns
