Instructors: Susan Ingraham and Patty Waldron

Susan Ingraham is the Head Swim Coach of Masters of South Texas. She has been coaching age group, high school and Masters swimming for over 30 years. She was awarded the 2008 USMS Coach of the Year. Susan holds Level 2 certification in both ASCA and USMS. She serves as a Club and Coach Services Coordinator for USMS. Susan is a co-author of the current USMS Masters coach certification curriculum.

Patty Waldronhas been coaching for 29 years in Charlotte, North CaroIna. She recently retired from SwimMAC Carolina, previously known as the Mecklenburg Aquatic Club. During her career at SwimMAC she served as Assistant Coach and lead Coach at all levels of the program. She has also served as Swim School Director, Head Age Group Coach, Regional Site Leader, Varsity Swim Coach for Charlotte Latin School and Head Swim MaC Masters Coach. Patty is an ASCA certified level 2 Masters Coach, level 3 Age Group Coach and Level 4 Senior Coach.

Prerequisites: You must be a 2012 USMS Member to participate in the course. You must be a member of ASCA to receive certification. ASCA and USMS Membership information is provided on the application for this clinic. ASCA Membership fee is $70 for one year. More information about ASCA may be found here: www.swimmingcoach.org
Upon successful completion of the certification process, including all required memberships, applications and completed tests: Each person will be awarded a USMS/ASCA Level 1 or Level 2 Coaches Certification certificate and a USMS Certified Coach pin.

Fees: $120 for Levels 1 and 2 Certification. $70 for Level 1 or Level 2 only.

Maximum: Maximum attendance is 50.

Who should attend? Current full-time, part-time or volunteer coaches. Anyone interested in supporting their existing team and coach. Anyone interested in starting a Masters Program.

Scholarships: are being seriously considered by NEM and might become available after the event. If available, all participants will be notified by NEM at that time.
