Recruited at 50 for College Swim Team

Masters swimmers have a reputation of appearing younger than they really are. Suzanne Heim-Bowen is one of those women you see in a race at the pool, and ask yourself  "Wow, is she really that old?"  It is easy to assume that swimmers are young when they swim like a shark. By the time she reached the 50-54 masters age group, Suzanne joined a college team and trained with kids three decades younger than her. There were consequences and rude awakenings to face, and face them she did. Find our why by taking a swim down memory lane with us as Suzanne shares her story of triumph over age in the midst of fast college swimmers.
