Sanction by Southern Pacific Masters Swimming for USMS, Inc. Sanction # 334-S026

Facility: Desert Breeze Park, 8275 W. Spring Mountain Road, indoor 50-meter by 25-yard pool. Six lanes will be available for warm-up. The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1.

Directions: From the I-15 Fwy, take the Flamingo Road exit (#38). Take Flamingo Road west for 3.54 miles. Turn right onto South Rainbow Blvd. and go 0.78 miles. Turn left onto Spring Mountain Road and go 1.70 miles. The pool is on the left.

Rules: United States Masters Swimming rules will govern. Current SPMS meet procedures will be enforced and take precedence over any errors or omissions on this form. The meet referee will be in charge of the meet. Any questions regarding the conduct of the meet should be directed to that person. All events are timed final. Swimmers are limited to a total of 5 individual events, not including relays. Age on February 22, 2014 determines age group for the meet. You must be at least 18 to compete.

Entries: Online meet entry closes at 4:00pm on Friday, February 21, 2014.
For mailed entries, the postmark deadline is Tuesday, February 18, 2014.

Deck Entries: Deck entries close at 12:30pm for events 1-6, and at 1:30pm for events 7-14. Deck entries will be processed “paperless and cashless” on a computer at the pool. Bring your credit card for payment of deck entries.  Visa, MC, Discover cards accepted.

Entry Fees: $30.00 per swimmer flat fee. Online entries after February 18 are $40.00. Deck entries are $40.00. For swimmers in relays only, the fee is $5.00.

Relays: All relays will be deck entered. Relay fees are $2.00 per relay due upon entry. For each relay swimmer who is not entered in individual events, a fee of $5.00 and a signed liability release must be submitted with the relay entry.

Awards: Individual: SPMS ribbons for places 1 to 3. Relay: SPMS ribbons for first place.

Special Awards: Events marked VFP (Vegas Free Play) will have special awards from local casinos for “free play” at the casino. Winners of age groups will be eligible for coupons redeemable at Las Vegas casinos. You must be at least 21 years of age in order to get a VFP coupon.
