The SCY Competition Pool features 8 wide lanes, wave-calming lane ropes and a depth of 7 to 10 feet. Continuous warmup/warmdown will be available.

Meet Rules: Current USMS Rules apply. All swimmers must be registered with USMS at time of entry and must provide a copy of their USMS card with entry form. Age is your age on April 19, 2013. Swimmers must choose to swim either the 1000 or 1650, not both.

Entries: Cost is $20. The preferred method of entry is online via the link below. Online meet entries are paid by credit card to “ClubAssistant.com Events.” Make checks to “Terrapin Masters Swim Club.” Pre-entries close April 15 – All pre-entries must be in possession of the meet director by 8:59:59 pm EST on April 15. Entry limits are: 1000 – 40 swimmers; 1650 – 24 swimmers. If the entry limit is not reached, Deck Entries will be permitted until heats are filled. Please contact the meet director ahead of time if considering a deck entry.

Seeding: All events will be seeded fastest to slowest. Men and Women will be seeded together. Heats will alternate between the 1000 and 1650, with the 1000 being swum first. Please make a good faith effort to properly estimate your seed time. NT entry times will not be accepted.

Check-in: In order to maximize available time and space, swimmers must check-in in person at the meet. Check-in for both events will close at 5:45pm. The opportunity to Deck Entries will be assessed at this time, and close at 5:46pm, in order that heat sheets may be posted in a timely fashion.

Traffic/Parking: Please be aware that the Washington DC area has notoriously bad traffic, and plan accordingly. Free parking is available in Lot 2 or the Terrapin Trail Parking Garage (Lot 6). Do not park in a numbered spot unless you wish to pay for parking (or a parking ticket). Detailed directions are available on our team website.

Timing: Primary timing system will be a Colorado Automatic Timing System.

Counters: The host club will provide counting cards. If electing to use the cards, it is the responsibility of the swimmer to provide someone to operate them.

Results: Results will be posted on our team website, www.terrapinmasters.org and will be submitted for USMS Top Ten consideration.
