Eligibility
May participate in the Pan American Championships athletes with citizenship of the American continent, people from other continents will participate as guests. Athletes from overseas will be presented with medals, without interfering with the awarding of the athletes with citizenship in the Americas. All competitors must represent a club, associations, fitness academies, will NOT permit athlete entry who representing a country team.

MINIMUM AGE LIMIT: 20 years
AGE DETERMINING DATE: The actual age of the competitor as of 31 December 2015.
AGE GROUPS, INDIVIDUAL EVENTS: 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 6569, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94 and five year age increments as high as necessary.
AGE GROUPS, RELAY EVENTS: Based on the total age of team members in whole years: 80-99, 100-119, 120-159, 160-199, 200-239, 240-279, 280-319, 320-359, and 40 years increments as high as necessary.
NOTE: 20-24 age group are not permitted to participate on relay teams: 100-119, 120-159, 160-199, 200-239, 240-239, 240-279, 280-319, 320-359.
TECHNICAL MEETING: The swimming technical meeting will be held on 17/06/2015 at 16.00 hours, the location will be announced on the host official website.(www.panamericanomaster2015.com).
COMPETITION VENUES: The Cesar Zapata Aquatic Complex is located at the Atanasio Girardot Sports Complex or Stadium sector.
TRAINING PROVISION: The Complex championship swimming pool will be open for training at 6:30 h to 8:00 h.
POOL CHARACTERISTICS: The two main competition swimming pools 50 m long, 10 lanes, 2,47 m depth, outdoor use.
RECOGNITION OF THE POOL: Will be available to swimmers for the recognition and warming, from day 16/06/2015. During the competition days pools will be available from 07:00 to 08:00.
WARM UP/WARM DOWN POOLS: 25 m long, 8 lanes, 1.50 m depth, outdoor use, they can be used all championship days.
WARM-UP PROCEDURES: Swimmers must enter the pool feet first in a cautious and controlled manner. No diving or backstroke starts will be allowed except in designated sprint lanes. No diving or backstroke starts will be allowed in the warm-up pool. One or more lanes shall be designated as ONE-WAY SPRINT lanes during the pre-meet warm-up sessions in the competition pool only. No sprint lanes will be designated in the warm-up pool. ANY SWIMMER WHO ACTS IN AN UNSPORTSMANLIKE OR UNSAFE MANNER WITHIN THE SWIMMING VENUE MAY BE CONSIDERED FOR APPROPRIATE ACTION OR PENALTY BY THE UANA Masters Commission. Pull-buoys, kick boards, fins, hand paddles (and any other objects deemed to be unsafe at the time) are NOT ALLOWED in the competition pool or warm-up pool.
ENTRY RESTRICTIONS: A swimmer may enter a maximum of five individual events and four relays, but not more than two individual events per day. Swimmers may also enter the open water swim. Entries without times will not be accepted.
COMPETITION NOTES:
1) All starts will be "over the top." i.e. swimmers from the previous race will stay in the water until the next race has started. The one-start rule will apply for all swimming events.
2) At the discretion of the organizing committee can be used for a particular test, two swimmers per lane.
