Description

Sanction: Recognized by Niagara District Masters Swimming for USMS Inc. #049-R002 and College Club Swimming.

Location: Alumni Arena Pool located on University at Buffalo’s North Campus. If using a GPS, enter “University at Buffalo Flint Entrance, Amherst, NY 14260”. The facility is a 16-lane 50 meter by 25 yard venue with separate diving well. The primary timing system will be automatic timing(Colorado Timing System). Warm-up in the diving well will be continuously available during the meet. The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1. The competition will take place in eight short course yards lanes. Separate warm-up space will be available throughout the duration of the meet.
           
Time: Meet registration begins at 8:15 am. Meet warm-up will begin at 8:30 am followed by a 9:30 meet start.

Eligibility: This meet is DUAL-RECOGNIZED between  Niagara District Masters Swimming (USMS) as well as College Club Swimming (CCS).  Swimmers 18 and older as of January 2019 with a valid membership in either organization will be allowed to participate.

OEVT registration is available for this meet. However, the cost is now $31 and with a 2019 USMS registration cost of $60, swimmers are encouraged to have the annual USMS registration, available at the beginning of this online entry (click on USMS Registration for a link to register).  Times for One-Event swimmers do not count for USMS or Niagara District awards or USMS Top Ten recognition.

Fees: Each USMS swimmer must pay a $35 entry fee.

T--Shirt: An event t-shirt can be ordered with the online meet entry  for an additional $10. Adult sizes S-XL are available. T-shirt is black with a blue and white logo; 50/50 poly/cotton blend.



Entries: Each swimmer may enter up to six individual events and two relays. All entries must be submitted by January 15, 2019, midnight. No deck entries will be accepted with the exception of relays.

Seeding: Events will be swum slowest to fastest EXCEPT the 400 IM and 1650 Free will be seeded fastest to slowest. All swimmers must check-in upon arrival, and positive check-in is required for the 400 IM, 500 Freestyle and 1650 Freestyle.  Relays will be deck-seeded and must be entered by the start of the 100 breaststroke. Men’s and Women’s heats may be combined. There will be a 10 minute break after Events 8 and 17.

Prizes: The top 3 finishers for each event for men & women will be awarded a prize.

Entry Procedure: Online entries ONLY for USMS swimmers.. Your credit card will be charged by ‘Club Assistant.com Events’ Online entries will close at midnight, Tuesday January 15, 2019.
