Eligibility: 18 years or older as of 2/11/24. USMS (or the equivalent AQUA) registration is required.*

*OEVT registration is an option with the online registration for swimmers who are not currently members of USMS, but are willing to pay an additional $20 fee to swim this meet. OEVT participants are not eligible for Top 10, USMS records or meet awards;  swimmers are encouraged to have an annual USMS registration.

FEES: Each swimmer will pay a $40 meet registration fee. OEVT registration will be an additional $20.

Entries:  Individual events will be mixed (men and women) and timed finals seeded slowest to fastest by time, except for Event 19 which will be seeded fastest to slowest. There will be NO deck entries for individual events. Relays may be deck-entered at no charge**. Swimmers are limited to six (6) individual events, excluding relays. There will be a 10 minute break after Events 5, 10 and 15.

**For Events 1 and 10, the relays may be swum as M(4 men), W(4 women) or Mixed (2 men & 2 women). Official relays must be composed of swimmers from the same club.

Directions: From Rochester and NYS Thruway: Take exit 44, Route 332 South 7.5 miles to the City of Canandaigua  Turn left on Chapel St. then left on East St.  The Academy is on the left in 1/4 mile. Park in the main lot to the right of the building as you approach the school. The entrance to the pool is the only entrance on that side of the building.

From Routes 5&20: In Canandaigua take Route 332 North 1.5 miles to Chapel St. Take a right on Chapel St. then left on East St.  Park in the main lot to the right of the building as you approach the school. The entrance to the pool is the only entrance on that side of the building.

Facility: Canandaigua Academy pool is an 8 lane, 25 yd. competition pool with separate diving well for continuous warm-up. The primary timing system will be automatic timing (Colorado Timing System). Times will be submitted for USMS records and USMS Top 10 consideration.

The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1.

Results: will be posted on the Niagara and USMS websites  

Meet Info: There will a positive check-in for the 1000 due by event 10. We will then seed the event and post the lane assignments. The 1000 heats will be run fastest to slowest.  Depending on the # of entries, we will be running 6 or 8 lanes.
