2024 AYST Masters Swim Meet at the Auburn YMCA

Eligibility: 18 or older as of March 3, 2024. USMS (or the equivalent AQUA) registration is required*
Fees: $40. Includes 6 individual events plus 2 relays. Your credit card will be charged by "USMS Niagara District"
Entries: entries must be submitted online; deck-entries will only be accepted for relays. Entry deadline is Wednesday, February 28, 2024, 11:59 pm. Deck-entries will not be accepted for individual events; relays will be deck-entered.

*OEVT USMS registration is an option with the online registration for swimmers who are not currently members of USMS but are willing to pay an extra $20 fee to swim this meet. OEVT participants are not eligible for Top 10, USMS records or meet awards; swimmers are encouraged to have an annual USMS registration.

Facility: The Allyn-Riford Pool located at the Auburn YMCA-WEIU is a 6 lane, 25 yard pool. There is a 4 lane 20 yard pool available for continuous warm-up or warm-down. The primary timing system used will be automatic time (Colorado Timing system). Times will be submitted for USMS records and Top Ten consideration. (The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and is on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1)

Meet Info: The competition pool will be open from 10:30 am to 11:25 am. Meet starts at 11:30 am. Please check in and confirm your events when you arrive. Positive check in for the 500 free must be completed by 11:15 am. Events will be mixed (men and women) and timed finals seeded slowest to fastest by time. Event 1 and Events 10 + 18 (relays) may be deck-seeded. Relays may be M (4 men), W (4 women) or Mixed (2 men+ 2 women). Legal relays must have 4 swimmers in the same club.
     There will be a 10 minute break after events 5, 10 and 14.

Results: will be posted on the Niagara and USMS websites.

Directions: From the West: On the NYS Thruway, travel East and take exit 41 (Waterloo/NY 414). Follow NY 318 East and then US-20 East to Auburn. Once in Auburn, follow US-20 East until a slight right on Clark St. (you'll see a large church). Take another right onto Dill St. and then turn right onto Genesee St. Follow Genesee St. to Court St. (one way). The entrance to the Y is off of Court St. on the side of the building.**

From the East: On the NYS Thruway, travel west and take exit 40 (Weedsport/Route 34). Turn right onto Route 34 and follow Genesee St. to Court St. (one way). The entrance to the Y is off of Court St. on the side of the building.**

**There is a driveway with handicapped spaces that leads to the side entrance. The front door of the Y is not accessible to enter, only the side entrance.

Parking: Parking is on the street, in the parking lot on Court St., on William St.in the front of the Y or in the nearby parking garage. There should be no fee to park on Sunday. Please do not park in the Professional Building Lot; this lot is private and you risk being towed.
