Location
The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) is located off Rt. 95 in Catonsville, MD. It has a modern 8-lane 50 meter pool. A fully electronic timing system will be used. The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1

Warm-up Times
The pool will be open for warm-ups on Sunday from 7:00- 7:35am. The meet will start promptly after warm-ups. One lane will be available for continuous warm up/warm down. 

Rules
USMS rules will apply. The meet is open to any swimmer at least 18 years of age.

Age groups are: 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,…100-104. Age for the meet is determined as of 12/31/2022.


Number of Events
A maximum of four (4) individual events may be entered.

Seeding
Ages and sexes will be combined. Slower heats will be swum first. The mile will be swum fastest to slowest.

Relay Events
Relays will be deck entered. The relay entry fee is $10.00 per relay. The names and ages of all swimmers must be on the card in the proper order. Relay age groups are standard LCM combined ages. Relay events can be made up of all women, all men, or 2 women and 2 men. 

Final Results
Results will be posted on the Maryland LMSC website. Times can be submitted for world records, USMS records, and USMS Top 10 consideration. 

Warm-up Procedures
Swimmers must enter the pool feet first in a cautious manner. No diving is allowed at any time in either pool. Racing dives, including backstroke starts, are allowed only in the designated sprint lanes during the pre-meet warm-up sessions.

Entry Fees
Individual entries:  $40.00
Relay-only swimmers:  no charge
Relay team entries:  $10.00 per relay


Entry Deadline
All entries must be received by June 24, 2022, at 11:59pm.
