2009 Last Chance SCM Meet

Facility: The brand new Wilson High School Aquatic Facility was completed in August 2009 and features a 50m by 25y competition pool.  The pool will be configured for Short Course Meters (SCM) with 8 lanes for competition and will have two 25-yard lanes available for continuous warm-up/warm-down throughout the meet.  Fully electronic timing will be used.

Rules:  Current USMS rules will govern the meet.  Swimmer age is as of 12/31/2009 and standard Masters age groups will be used.  NT entries are discouraged, and will be seeded in the slowest heat.  Meet will be seeded slow-to-fast.  Ages will be combined; men and women will swim together.  A break is scheduled after the 400 freestyle, and in the event of a quick timeline, up to two additional breaks may be added at the discretion of the Meet Directors, to be announced at the start of the meet.

Warm-up: The competition pool will be available from 8:00 – 8:45am for meet warm-up.  In accordance with USMS rule 102.4.2, diving is not permitted except during designated times in designated sprint lanes.  Please follow direction of meet officials and safety marshals.

Eligibility: All Swimmers must have a valid 2009 or 2010 USMS membership.  Please visit www.usms.org/reg to sign up for USMS prior to entering the meet. 

Entries: Entry is made available online ONLY.  Meet Fee is $20, which includes meet surcharge, up to 4 events and online entry fee.

Entry Deadline:  Entries must be submitted by 11:59pm PST Tuesday, December 8, 2009.  No late entries will be accepted.
