Sanction by Southern Pacific Masters Swimming for USMS, Inc.

Sanction #334-S036

Facility: Desert Breeze Park, 8275 W. Spring Mountain Road, indoor 50-meter by 25-yard pool. Lanes will be available for warm-up.  The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1. 

Directions: From the I-15 Fwy, take the Flamingo Road exit (#38). Take Flamingo Road west for 3.54 miles. Turn right onto South Rainbow Blvd. and go 0.78 miles. Turn left onto Spring Mountain Road and go 1.70 miles. The pool is on the left.

Rules:

• United States Masters Swimming rules will govern. Current SPMS meet procedures will be enforced and take precedence over any errors or omissions on this form. The meet referee will be in charge of the meet. Any questions regarding the conduct of the meet should be directed to that person.
• All events are timed final. Swimmers are limited to a total of 5 individual events. Age on December 31, 2014 determines age group for the meet. You must be at least 18 years of age to compete.

Entry Fees and Deadlines:

• $35.00 per swimmer flat fee by midnight June 7, 2014.
• $45.00 per swimmer flat fee for online entries after June 7, and deck entries.
• Pre-entry postmark deadline: Saturday, June 7, 2014.
• Pre-entry online deadline: 6:00pm Pacific time Friday, June 13, 2014.
• On-deck/day-of-meet registration permitted. See more below about deck entries.
• Meet entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• If paying by credit card, your credit card statement will reflect a charge from "ClubAssistant.com Events."
• Checks payable to: Coach Victor Hecker. Mail consolidated entry card, a copy of your 2014 USMS card, and check for $35 to: 8593 Verde Park Circle, Las Vegas, NV 89129

SWIM CAPS:
"Fabulous Las Vegas" swim caps with the iconic Welcome to Las Vegas sign design.  Silicone and Latex caps for sale during online meet entry.  See example at right.

Deck Entries: Deck entries close at 12:30pm for events 1-6, and at 1:30pm for events 7-13. Deck entries will be processed “paperless and cashless” on a computer at the pool. Bring your credit card for payment of deck entries.  Visa, MC, Discover cards accepted.

Relays: There are no relays in this meet.

Warm-up: USMS warm-up policies will be enforced by USA Swimming Officials. There will be NO DIVING into the pools during the times except into the designated sprint lane(s). There will be a warm-up/warm-down lane available throughout the meet. Warm-up rules will be announced and posted.

Seeding: All events will be deck seeded slowest to fastest, by entered time, ages and sexes combined. Positive check-in is required for all events. Check-in will be available on SwimPhone.com beginning at 8pm on June 13, 2014. 

Awards: Individual: SPMS ribbons for places 1 to 3.
