2012 Planet Adventure Swim Series (PASS)
PASS 5K Open Water Swim
June 23, 2012
in conjunction with the
2012 USMS 5K Open Water National Championship

PASS 5K: June 23, 2012:  Location, South Harbour Club House Beach, 1156 South Harbour Drive, Noblesville, IN 46062. The course is a 5K loop marked with 16 buoys. Swimmers will swim one lap. The event will be held simultaneously with the 5K USMS National Championships.  Please use separate form to compete in the National Championship.

Lake temperature in late-June is near 78 F, but can vary +/- 5 degrees.  Link to Morse Lake Weather.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to USMS registered members and non-members who pay the “One-Event” additional $15 fee.

ENTRY FEES: Online Entry is preferred.

• Early Registration is $50 and must be completed online by midnight central time on May 19, 2012 or received by mail by May 19, 2012.
• Late Registration is $60 and must be completed online by midnight central time or received by mail by June 9, 2012.
• Online registration is charged to your credit card by "ClubAssistant.com Events."
• No race-day entries.
• Event registration will close when 300 total entries have been received for both events.
• Fee includes: T-shirts, swim caps, goody bags and snacks.
• Proceeds benefit the not-for-profit, Friends of Central Pool, Inc. (FOCP).
• There will be no refunds.
• Fees include: T-shirts, swim caps, goodie bags and post-race snacks.

RULES: Current USMS rules will govern this event.

SAFETY: Safety boats and life guards will monitor the entire course. “The Beach” Start/Finish Area.  Swimmers must wear race cap and numbers on arms and back for identification. Medical personnel will be on-site.

SEEDING: Swimmers will be seeded in a separate heat following the Championship heats.  The Race Director reserves the right to change seeding. 

AWARDS:  Age group winners will receive ribbons or medals. Points will be awarded to determine the series champions in August.
