2019 St. Patrick’s Day Swim Meet @ The Dome Natatorium- M.E. Lyons YMCA

    Warm up for Event #1 (1000 freestyle): 10:00 AM.       The first heat of the 1000 Free begins at 11:00 AM.
   
    Event #2 will be begin no earlier than 1:00 pm

                   Meet is anticipated to end by 4:00 p.m.

Deadline: Online Entries are due by Wednesday March 13th, 2019 by 11:59 pm EDT. 

Eligibility: 2019 U.S. Masters Swimming rules will govern conduct of the meet. Because of insurance regulations, all swimmers must be registered U.S. Masters Swimmers. Limit 6 individual events. Only swimmers entered in the meet can participate in relays. Only relays from same club/chapter/workout group may score points. Un-attached swimmers MAY NOT form relays per USMS Rule 102.9.1.

Fees: Only On-line Registration only. There will be a flat fee of $35.00 to attend this meet for on-line entry, which includes 6 individual events and 2 relays for the meet. There are NO DECK ENTRIES for this meet.

Facility: The meet will be conducted in the Dome pool. We have Kiefer blocks, lane lines, back stroke flags and new heating unit. The pool is a 6-lane 25-yard pool with Competitor non-turbulent lane markers, Colorado automatic timing ran with Hy-Tek software. There will be separate 6 lane pool available for continuous warm-up and warm down. The length of the competition course is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1, but as a bulkhead course, is subject to length confirmation. Eligibility of times for USMS Top 10 and Records will be contingent on verification of bulkhead placement.

Age Groups: Age of competitors on March 16th, 2019 will determine age group.

Seeding: Heats will be formed by times, regardless of age or sex, and progress from “no time”, deck entries, slowest to fastest.

MEET CHECK IN:  Yes , and also for those swimming event #1, 1000 Free.  Only the first 24 entries received during the entry process will be allowed to swim the 1000.  Entries of NT (no time) for event #1 will not be accepted. There is a time cut off of 25 minutes for the 1000 freestyle. Time Verification for all events is at discretion of meet host to check USMS database to ensure accuracy and ensure a smooth running meet.

Event #2 - Medley Relays will not start before 1:00 pm. All Events will run slowest to fastest.

Session # 1 begins at 11 a.m.
Session # 2 begins no earlier than 1:00 p.m.

Meet is anticipated to end by 4:00 p.m.
