Saturday, September 23, NAU’s Wall Aquatic Center, 25 Meter Course
Sunday, September 24, Sedona Community Pool, 25 Yard Course

Location—Sedona Community Pool, 570 Posse Ground Road, Sedona, AZ 86336

Facility—8 lane outdoor 25 yard course with non-turbulent lane lines.  5-6 lanes will be used for competition, 1-2 lanes will be available for continuous warmup/warmdown. The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1.   

Timing—Timing with be fully automatic (touchpads with 1 button and 1 watch backup), therefore times will be eligible for USMS National Records and Top 10’s

Time—Warmups at 9 AM, meet starts at 10 AM

Rules—
1.    2023 USMS Rules will apply
2.    All events are timed finals
3.    Swimmers may swim up to 4 individual events
4.    500 Free will require positive check-in.  Check in by 9:30 AM day of meet.  
5.    Swimmers age as of September 24, 2023, will determine their age for the meet

Seeding—All events will be run slowest to fastest, ages and sexes combined.   Breaks will be included as necessary and requested.  

Eligibility—Open to any swimmer with a valid 2023 USMS registration or one day registration.  Please include a copy of your USMS registration card with your entry, or be prepared to show your card at meet check-in.  We will be accepting one day registrations (applications available at the meet), but one day registrations are not eligible for Masters USMS records or Top 10 times.

Entry Fee:  $30.00 fee includes up to 4 events.  Deck entries will be $35.00

This meet is offered in conjunction with the meet in Flagstaff on Saturday. Not all events will be offered at both meets. Time trials for events not offfered at the Sedona meet on Sunday will be held at the discretion of the meet referee.  FINA does not allow time trials, so there will be no time trials at the Flagstaff meet.   

Entry Deadline—Entries must be received by 5 PM on Tuesday September 19.  Deck entries will be accepted to fill available lane space only, deck entry deadline 9:30AM September 24

Mail Entries to—Fall Classic Swim Meet, Liz Hobbs, 514 W Navajo Rd, Flagstaff, AZ 86001.  Make check payable to Sedona Swim Team.  Include copy of USMS registration, completed AZ consolidated entry card (http://azlmsc.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Consol.EntryForm.pdf) and payment. Or enter online, using link.

Meet Order of Events:  Please note—breaks will be given between events as requested and as time allows. This meet is offered in conjunction with the meet in Flagstaff on Saturday, which is SCM.  Relays can be Men's, Women's, or Mixed, and may be combined into one heat.

If you would like to swim an event not offered in Sedona as a time trial, please inform the meet director or meet referee. FINA does not allow time trials, so there will be no time trials on Saturday in Flagstaff. Time trials may be offered during a requested break, or at the end of the meet.
