LOCATION: 
Lake Pleasant, Spring Canyon  -

DIRECTIONS: 

    Take I-17 north to 74 west (toward Wickenburg).

    Pass 2 stop lights and turn right on 87th Ave (follow signs for Pleasant Harbor).

    Take 87th Ave to the Pleasant Harbor entrance.

    There is a guard gate and the fee is $6 per car.

PARKING: 

Once you pay the fee and pass the gate proceed straight and turn right on Pleasant Harbor Dr., continue to the stop sign, turn left and take the right to Spring Canyon.  Parking will be available IN Spring Canyon, first come, first serve.

Overflow parking is available in the large parking lot that is shared with the fire station. There is a free marina shuttle that goes between the North and South Boat ramps. Take the shuttle to the NORTH boat ramp or you may do the short walk down the hill to Spring Canyon. Just below the north ramp you will see Spring Canyon and the OWS venue.

Eligibility:  Open to all registered Masters Swimmers holding a valid 2014 USMS Card.  For further information on registration, contact the AZLMSC Registrar, Katy James at katyjamesswims@gmail.com.  Swimmers will be required to show proof of registration the day of the event.

Rules:  2014 USMS rules apply. All events are timed finals.  Age is determined based on the age of the competitor as of October 26, 2014. 

Entries & Fees:  Entries will be taken online, until October 25 at 7pm, and onsite day of the event.  Late entries will not be accepted.  Event fees are $40 through September 1, then $50 through September 26, and $60 thereafter.  Swimmers are encouraged to enter online. Online entries are paid by credit card to "ClubAssistant.com Events".

Refund Policy: We know life can get in the way sometimes, and inevitably sometimes you can't make it...but we plan on you being there. Rather than cut you no slack, we offer more than most:

• Up until 4 weeks out, 50% refund.
• Inside of 4 weeks till the event, no refunds.
• No exceptions.

Seeding:  There will be  4 wave starts:

4000m – non-wetsuit
4000m – Wetsuit (not state championship eligible)
2000m – non-wetsuit
2000m - Wetsuit (not state championship eligible)

Scoring:  Only non-wetsuit swimmers are eligible for state championship.  Team scores will go 10 places deep 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 for each distance, gender.

Awards:  Top 3 places within each age group will receive awards.

Results:  During the meet, results will be posted online.  At the conclusion of the meet, results will be posted online at www.azlmsc.org and at www.sundevilmasters.com. 

Relays:  Not applicable.

7:00am – Registration/check in open

7:45am – Registration closed

7:45am – MANDATORY SAFETY BRIEFING - ALL SWIMMERS

7:50am - Warm up

8:00am – 4000m Non-wetsuit start

8:03am – 4000m Wetsuit start

8:06am – 2000m Non-wetsuit start

8:09am  - 2000m Wetsuit Start

Awards will be presented onsite day of event.
