FACILITY & COURSE:North County Aquatic Complex 801 Toney Penna Dr., Jupiter, FL, 33458. Eight (8) – Ten (10) 25 yard lanes with electronic timing will be provided for the competition. Pool heaters & chillers keep the pool at an optimum temperature for competition. Eight (8) - 25 meter lanes will be available for warm-up & warm-down at all times. The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1. Parking is limited; please consider carpooling.
ELIGIBILITY: Meet is open to all currently registered USMS or currently registered FINA Masters recognized governing body, swimmers 18 years or older. Age to be determined as of March 8, 2020. 2020 USMS rules will govern this meet.
ENTRY FEES: Entry fee of $30 plus $3 per event. All entries include a meet recognition gift!
ENTRIES: Online entries preferred. Swimmers may enter a maximum of five (5) individual events per day. All entries must be received by Tuesday, March 3rd, at 11:59pm. All entry & event fees are nonrefundable. The 1650 free will be limited to the first 30 swimmers who register for the event. “Mailed in Entries” should include the entry form, payment, signed waiver, & a copy of your 2020 USMS Registration Card and mailed to Linda Bostic, North County Aquatic Complex, 801 Toney Penna Dr, Jupiter, FL , 33458 with checks made payable to Palm Beach Masters.
SEEDING: All events will be swum in numerical order, seeded slow to fast, with the exception of the 1650 Free, which will be swum fast to slow and mixed gender.
DISTANCE EVENT CHECK-IN: The 1650 free, 400 IM, & 500 free will be deck seeded with a positive check-in. Check-in deadlines: 1650 free at 5:15pm on Friday; 400 IM at 1pm on Saturday; 500 free at 10:30am on Sunday.
DECK ENTRIES: Deck entries will be accepted each day of the meet during warm-up for an added charge. Entries are only permitted into open lanes. No new heats will be added. “Double Entry Fee” if not already entered in meet. $5 per event if already entered in meet.
RELAYS: Relay entries will be accepted on the deck up to 75 minutes prior to the start of the relay. There is a $5 charge for each relay. Only team members registered for the meet may participate. Mixed relays will be swum separately from Women’s & Men’s Relays and not in combined heats.
BREAKS: There will be a 10-minute break prior to all relays and a 5-minute break before and after relays. Additional breaks in the meet may be taken at the direction of the Meet Referee.
SCORING & AWARDS: Ribbons and Tri-Fold Award cards and Ribbons will be provided for the placement of individual peel-off award labels as a race record for all. A complimentary meet recognition item (.ie t-shirt) will be given to all participants
SOCIAL: Join us for a meet social at the Jupiter Beach Resort Pool Bar on Saturday, March 7th after the conclusion of the meet that day. Make new friends, relax with a cold beverage, and enjoy food from their menu.
