When: Saturday, January 27, 2024
Warm-ups at 8:00 a.m., meet starts at 8:45 a.m.

Who: Any 2024 USMS Registered Swimmer.

Where: Mountain View Aquatic Center (yards)
3560 Mountain Lion Drive, Loveland CO 80537

Seeding: Slowest to fastest, by gender. 

Age Groups: USMS age groups (18-24, 25-29, … etc.)

Events: Swimmers may participate in a maximum of four individual, and two relay events. Women's events will be odd-numbered, Men's events will be even-numbered.

Relays: Two relays will be offered at no additional fee. The points double for the two relays.

Entry Fees:
Early entry $40 (received by 11:59pm Jan. 12)
Regular entry $50 (received by 11:59pm Jan 22)
No deck entries

Sanction:  324-S001 – Short course yards. The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1. Automatic timing will be provided by a Colorado Timing System. Times from this competition will be eligible for USMS records and Top 10 consideration, but not for world records.

Hospitality: Loveland Masters strives to make this a fun event.  We provide free snacks, and after the meet we will have food trucks present in case you would like something more substantial.  Join us after the meet at a local micro-brewery to celebrate our acomplishments.

Team Points:    
Swimmers will earn points for their workout group. The Kevin Polansky bobble head trophy will be awarded to the workout group with the highest points at the end of the meet.

First place in age group	10 points
Second place in age group	8 points
Third Place in age group	6 points
Fourth place in age group	4 points
Participation	2 points

Order of Events: 

• 5-minute break after Event 2
• 5-minute break after Event 12, then Fun Relay:
  • 6 x 25 Butterfly Relay with 3 swimmers
    Three men, or three women swimmers (no mixed relays), each swimming two 25s Butterfly. The first, third, and fifth position may dive from the blocks or the deck, or push-off from the edge. The second, fourth and six position must push off from edge in the water. Standard USMS Butterfly rules apply. Genders maybe swum in combined heats. Double points will be scored for this relay (20 Points for first, 16 for second, etc.)
• 5-minute break after Event 22, then Fun Relay:
  • 4 x 50 T-Shirt Relay:  Four swimmers comprised of four men, or four women, or two men and two women, each swimming a 50 freestyle wearing a T-shirt to be provided. The start for all swimmers will be in the water from the shallow end. Each swimmer must have an arm through each arm hole, and the head through the neck hole, before passing the flags. Team members may assist with transferring the t-shirt between swimmers. Double points will be scored for this relay (20 Points for first, 16 for second, etc.)
• Events 23-30 may be swum in combined heats at the discretion of the meet director
