Join us for a beach weekend and get in some fun races at #thefunnestmeet!  The laid-back meet format encourages the most novice swimmers and triathletes through the seasoned competitors to have fun and enjoy racing!  Events range from 25's to the 500, and includes 4x25 yd relays.  The final event is our world renowned "Floatie Relay" with large inner tubes.  All swimmers and volunteers receive free admitance to the post-meet BBQ social complete with Beer, Wine, lots of food and a raffle.  This is one meet you do not want to miss.  Registrations are limited to the first 150 swimmers.  Do not delay. Course:                       
8 lane, 25 yard indoor heated pool will be in use. All 8 lanes will be used for competition. The Colorado System 6 timing system will be used. The length of the competition course is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with USMS articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1.  You can expect pool temperatures to be between 80-82 degrees.  

Schedule:                         
The check-in table will open at 7:30 in the downstairs hallway. Swimmers can access the locker rooms at that time. Pool will open for warm-up from 8:00-8:45 am. Swimmers will have access to all 8 lanes in the competition pool for warm-up.  The meet starts with the 500 at 8:50 am. The dive well will be available throughout the meet for warm up and cool down between events.   There will be a 5 minute break before and after the 25's and before each relay.  There will also be a 5 minute break after the 4 heats of 500s.

Rules:                        
USMS rules will govern this meet. Swimmers must be registered with USMS for 2023. One day USMS registration will be available. When warming up, you must enter the pool feet first except in sprint lanes. No paddles or kickboards are allowed. NO DIVING will be allowed during ANY breaks.

One-event registration is strictly for insurance coverage for the event. OEVT are not eligible for any Event Rankings, Top 10, USMS records, or other honors achieved in that event. Per Article 301.3.1 of the USMS Rule Book.

Additional Information: 
The times recorded from the 25's are not eligible for USMS records.

Entries:                         
Online entries only.  Deadline for entries is 11:59 pm EST Saturday October 7th, 2023. No paper entries will be accepted and no deck entries will be accepted at the meet.

Fees:                           
$40.00 flat fee which includes the BBQ Social through September 23rd.  Fee increases to $50 on September 24th.  There is a $20 one day "One Event Registration" fee available for those that are not USMS members. No extra charge for relays. There will be no refunds unless the meet is cancelled, in which case $20.00 of the fee paid will be retained and the balance will be refunded. If inclement weather occurs, the staff will determine by 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 13, if the natatorium will or will not open the following morning. 

Post Meet Social:
A post meet BBQ social will be held at Long Leaf Park Shelter 4, 314 Pine Grove Dr. 28409 directly following the meet.  The social is free for registered swimmers and volunteers. Guests are $12 for adults, and $5 for children.  We will be handing out awards and prizes at the social!  Check your meet email for directions.  MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!

Seeding:                     
All events will be seeded by time from slow to fast. The 500 Free will be capped at 32 swimmers and will include a positive check-in which will close at 8:30 am.

Scoring:                     
Points will be awarded as follows:
Individuals: 9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1


Limit and Order of Events: Limit is six individual events plus any relay events. 

DON'T MISS our truly unique Mixed 100 Y Relays!  You do not need to choose a team, the meet directors will organize the relay teams based on entrants. Each team member will swim a 25.  There are 3 relays throughout the meet. You will have the same team for all 3 relays. Checking yes to 1 relay will enter you into all 3. The 3 relay events will be: 1- the famous and fast, free relay, 2 - the almost as fast and famous medley relay, and finally 3- everyone's favorite floatie relay! Fun prizes for the winning teams. Be sure to check "I am available for this relay" on the registration page to opt in for all relays.
