SANCTIONED Wisconsin LMSC for USMS, Inc. Sanction number 204-S005
LOCATION Brookfield East High School, 3305 Lilly Road, Brookfield, WI 53005. The pool is on the South side of the building next to the field house with adjacent parking. Enter from the West side of the building.
Date and Time Saturday, June 1, 2024. Pool is open for an age group meet in the morning. Clinic warm-up noon to 12:15 PM, clinic from 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM. General meet warm-up 12:45 PM to 1:20 PM. Meet starts at 1:30 PM.
Clinic Prior to the meet there will be a clinic focusing on starts and relay exchanges. The entry fee includes the clinic and the meet. Swimmers may choose to participate in the meet only or both the clinic and meet. The clinic is limited to the first thirty swimmers that register.
FACILITIES Six (6) lanes, 25 yard indoor pool, backstroke flags, non-turbulent lane dividers, 3.5 feet minimum depth. Height of blocks is 30 inches, depth of pool at starting blocks is 12 feet. The length of the competition course is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1.
ELIGIBILITY Open to all swimmers 18 years and over as of Saturday, June 1, 2024. Because this is a USMS sanctioned event, current USMS or World Aquatics Masters (formerly FINA) membership is required for insurance reasons. There are two membership options:

- One Event membership. Online entry is required for One Event memberships. Times swum under one-event registration are not eligible for USMS Top 10 or records consideration. One Event memberships are not eligible for USMS or Wisconsin records (individual or relay), All-American consideration or All-Star consideration.
RULES Official USMS Masters Rules will govern this meet. All events are timed finals.
AUTOMATIC SPLIT RECORDING Automatic split recording (USMS Rule 103.18.2 A and B) will be performed by the officials for relay lead-off splits, provided the split time is available from the automatic (primary) timing system. Other splits must be requested in writing by the swimmer as per USMS rules noted on the USMS Split Notification Form (Appendix B, Page 135 of the 2024 USMS Rule Book).
SEEDING Heats will be computer seeded, slowest to fastest. Please submit a reasonably accurate seed time, a “NO TIME” will be seeded in the slowest heat. Age groups and sexes will be combined.
TIMING Primary: Automatic timing system (Colorado), Secondary: Semi-automatic with one button, Tertiary: one watch. Note: The timing system precision qualifies as appropriate for setting USMS Records, and Top 10 Consideration. (103.18.5).
WARM-UP PROCEDURE Swimmers must enter the pool in a cautious manner feet first. Due to the clinic: circle swimming only lanes will be announced; sprint/diving lanes will be announced with swimming in one direction only and exiting to the side or end of the pool. NO DIVING STARTS from the blocks or the deck in circle swim lanes. Hand paddles, kickboards, fins, etc., may not be used at any time during the warm up period. Lane 1 is reserved for warm-up and cool-down during the meet.
ENTRY FEE USMS Members $15.00. One Event members $35.00. Relay only or clinic only swimmers must enter and pay the full entry fee. There are no refunds of entry fees.
ENTRY LIMIT Six (6) individual events per swimmer. THE 1000 FREESTYLE IS LIMITED TO THE FIRST 5 ENTRIES RECEIVED. Each swimmer swimming the 1000 Freestyle is responsible for providing a lap counter. positive check in for the 1000 is required by the start of THE MEET. WAITLIST for 1000: If the 1000 is filled, you will be placed on a waitlist. You may enter an alternate event that you may drop if you get to swim the 1000 on the day of the meet. Entries open on May 1, 2024. The On-Line meet entry deadline for the meet is Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 11:59 PM CST time. NO EMAIL OR DECK OR LATE ENTRIES FOR clinic, INDIVIDUAL EVENTS, OR RELAY-ONLY SWIMMERS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
ENTRY DEADLINE Paper entries for clinic, individual events, or relay-only swimmers via US Mail with the Wisconsin Masters Swimming Universal Entry Form, one athlete per form. Mail entries must include a copy of the swimmer’s USMS registration card. The LIABILITY RELEASE page must be signed without any alterations. Paper entries must be in the meet director’s hands no later than 6:00PM, Saturday May 25, 2024. Fees must accompany the entry form. Checks made payable to Wisconsin Masters Aquatic Club.

- Non-Conforming Event and not eligible for USMS Top 10, USMS or Wisconsin records, All American or All-Star consideration.
- At the blocks swimmers will be given the order of strokes to be swum. The order will vary from lane to lane and will not be in the traditional (Fly, Back, Breast, Free) order.
- Each swimmer will swim a 100 Individual Medley in the standard order.
- The 25 yard events are watch times only. These times will not be uploaded to USMS.
