Times: Fri, July 26: Warmup: 3:00pm, Meet Start: 4:00pm Sat, July 27: Warmup: 10:00am, Meet Start: 11:00am Sun July 28: Warmup: 8:00am, Meet Start: 9:00am
Facility:
Eight lane indoor 50M pool with bulkhead. Eight SCY lanes in adjacent outdoor pool available for continuous warm up/warm down.
The length of the competition course is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1, but as a bulkhead course, is subject to length confirmation. Times from this competition will be eligible for world record, USMS record, and Top 10 consideration.
Timing System: CTS GEN7 with touch pads as the primary timing system will be used during the competition. Secondary timing system will be semi-automatic with a minimum of 1 button and 1 digital watch per lane. Hy-Tek’s Meet Manager software will be used to manage and score the meet. Times from this competition will be eligible for World and USMS records and World and USMS Top 10 consideration.
Rules: 2024 USMS Long Course Rules will govern the conduct of the meet.
Eligibility: Open to all currently registered USMS swimmers. Swimmers not currently registered with USMS will be given an opportunity to register with USMS while doing their online entry.
Meet Format:
Timed finals
Events 200 meters and shorter will be seeded by time and gender, slowest to fastest
All other individual events will be gender combined and seeded by time, fastest to slowest
Age as of December 31, 2024 will determine age for the meet.
Swimmers must be a minimum of 18 years old by July 26, 2024. Swimmers turning 18 after the meet entry deadline and by July 26, 2024, may email the meet director prior to the meet deadline for entry instructions.
Swimmers should enter with a seed time in long course meters (LCM)
Swimmers may enter no more than five (5) events per day
Swimmers may only enter events longer than 200 meters if they meet the qualifying time standard
No fines or penalties will be assessed for swimmers who no-show/scratch at the meet.
Age Groups:
Individual: 18-24,25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64,65-69,70-74,75-79, etc.
Awards: Medals will be given for top three individuals in each age group and event. Relay medals will be given to top three in each age category. Top Three Combined Team Awards will be presented.
Psych & Heat Sheets: Psych will be available online before the meet. Heat sheets will be available online before/during the meet and available for free pick up at the meet at the Clerk of Course area. Heat Sheets will also be posted on the walls around the venue.
Results: Results will be on Meet Mobile throughout the meet and www.USMS.org after the meet. Hard copy results will be posted continuously throughout the meet. Records will be submitted with proper paperwork and electronic files ASAP after the meet to all appropriate parties.
T-Shirts: Next Level unisex short sleeve ($25) and long sleeve t-shirts ($30) are available to order with entry form. A limited amount of shirts will be available for sale at the meet.
Social: Information to be posted closer to meet date and will be within walking distance from pool
Hospitality: Will be available throughout the meet for officials, volunteers and coaches.
Concessions: Limited snack bars, fruit and drinks will be available for sale.
Hotels: Numerous hotel options are located within a five mile radius and The Beeman and The Highland Dallas are within walking distance.

Sanction:
Held under the sanction of U.S. Masters Swimming this meet is sanctioned by North Texas Swimming and 2024 USMS rules and any current relevant sections of the North Texas Policies & Procedures Manual will apply. All swimmers must be registered for 2024 with U.S. Masters Swimming by the entry deadline.
The 2024 USMS Swimming Rules and any relevant sections of the USMS Handbook will apply.
Cell Phone Restrictions:
The presence or use of cell phones, smart phones or any other devices capable of producing audio recordings, photographic or video images in locker rooms, restrooms or changing areas are strictly and specifically prohibited at all times.
There are no exceptions to this policy.
Violators are subject to disqualification from the meet, disbarment from the facility and arrest
Swim Suit Restrictions: Swimwear for pool competitions must follow Article 102.12 in the USMS rule book. PLEASE REVIEW THIS SECTION PRIOR TO DECIDING WHAT SWIMWEAR TO USE AT THE MEET.
