Competition Pool: 10 x 50 LCM Lanes
8 or 9 lanes to be used for racing
1 or 2 lanes to be used for warm-up/warm-down

Entry Fee:
$40.00 flat entry fee per swimmer

Entry Deadline:
July 5th, 2023 @ 11:59 PM ET

Entry Guidelines:
A maximum of 4 individual entries per swimmer is allowed. The 800m freestyle is limited to the first 27 entrants (3 heats of 9). The 400m freestyle is limited to the first 36 entrants (4 heats of 9).

The fastest heat of the 800m freestyle will race at the start of the session. The slower two heats of the 800m freestyle will race at the end of the session.

Eligibility:
Current USMS rules will govern the meet. All participants must be age 18 or older as of the last day of the meet, and be currently-registered members of U.S. Masters Swimming.

Course Compliance:
The length of the competition course is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1, but as a bulkhead course, is subject to length confirmation. Eligibility of times for USMS Top 10 and Records will be contingent on verification of bulkhead placement.

Timing System:
The primary timing system will be automatic timing. Times may be submitted for USMS records and USMS Top 10 consideration.

Records:
Please inform the Meet Director as soon as possible if you believe that you will or have set a USMS record during the competition.

Seeding:
All events except the 800m free will be seeded slowest to fastest without regard to age or gender. The 800m free will be seeded fastest to slowest with the fastest heat competing at the beginning of the sesssion, and the slower two heats competing at the end.

Awards/Scoring:
There will be no awards or scoring at this meet.

Location/Directions/Parking:
The Nassau County Aquatic Center is located off of Merrick Avenue in Eisenhower Park.

“Parking for the Aquatic Center is in lot No. 1A, located off Merrick Avenue (Korean War Veterans Memorial Drive) between Hempstead Turnpike and Charles Lindbergh Boulevard. The circle in the front of the building is for drop-off only. If lot No. 1A is full, overflow parking is located in lot No. 1, also located off Merrick Avenue, or lot No. 6A, located off the main road inside Eisenhower Park.”
