Rowdy Gaines Freestyle Clinic

Gulf Masters Swimming is proud to announce the Rowdy Gaines Freestyle Clinic on Sunday February 24th from 11:30-2:30. The clinic is open to all Gulf registered USMS members and will benefit everyone from the fitness swimmer to the highly competitive swimmer or triathlete. The clinic will be led by U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame member, three-time Olympic gold medalist, member of the International Swimming Hall of Fame and well known NBC Sports Commentator, Rowdy Gaines.

The Clinic will include both water time and land instruction including:

• Freestyle stroke technique and drills
• Flip turn technique
• Strength training tips and exercises for swimmers
• Q&A session

Rowdy Gaines Freestyle Clinic Registration will open Friday, February 1st 12:00 p.m. on the Gulf website

Who: Any Gulf registered USMS members

Where: ConocoPhillips Natatorium- 600 N. Dairy Ashford, Houston, TX 77079. Make sure to show all content to see map with driving directions below.


When: Sunday Feb 24th 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM; Please arrive no later than 11:15 for sign-in

Deadline: February 15th OR whenever the clinic reaches 60 swimmers, whichever comes first!

Cost: $25 through online registration at Rowdy Gaines Freestyle Clinic Registration

If you are not currently registered with USMS you will be given an opportunity to register for USMS when you register for the Clinic!

All participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt. Click here to see T Shirt The Clinic will accept a maximum of 60 swimmers on a first-come, first-served basis beginning February 1st at 12:00 p.m. No refunds will be given.

There will be no refunds given however, if you discover before the registration deadline that you cannot come, it would be greatly appreciated that you let us know at gulfswim@gmail.com so that we can make room for someone else.
