A competitive swimmer since the age of 6, June Hussey intends to never stop making waves. Though she trains in a pool, she takes the most pleasure in swimming "without walls." Since 1997, she has put more than 60 open water races under her cap, from the Maui Channel to the Long Island Sound and Escape from Alcatraz. June has given back to her sport by serving as Open Water Chair, Communications Chair and Newsletter Editor for Arizona Masters. Having trained with several Tucson Masters teams, June founded Skyline Masters Swim Club in 2008. In 2012, she became an ASCA-certified Masters Level 2 Coach and is a currently recognized USMS Coach. Jordan Stoughton grew up a desert swimmer in Tucson, competing for Ventana Canyon during his age-group days and later coaching Masters there. While a student at Catalina Foothills High School, he ran Varsity track. A graduate of the U of A, Jordan is the original coach for Skyline Masters, where he masters the balance between patiently delivering stroke advice to those less experienced while simultaneously making more experienced swimmers beg for mercy. And he does it all with a disarming charm. What's not to love?
